Hot Waitress Index

A little late on this one: In the New York Magazine a great article :The Hot Waitress Index (HWI), an economic indicator. correlates the beauty of waitresses to the weakness of the economy. The hotter the waitress, the colder the economy. And from the looks of things, it is a bitter cold wind that blows out there notwithstanding what the hot air balloonists are going around claiming.
